A cited conversational assistant for your WordPress content, with one ACMS account and English / Spanish support.

== Description ==
ACMS connects this site to the ACMS hosted service. ACMS is a project in internal dogfooding: access is by approval, only approved project addresses can connect a site, new accounts are not open, and there is no charge. Installation alone sends no site content to ACMS. Before connecting, review the service disclosures and legal links shown by the connection flow.

The local management interface guides you through account connection, ownership verification, content synchronization, preview and activation. Public visitors and browser agents use the same restricted consumer tools; administrative credentials remain server-side.

== External services ==
This plugin relies on the hosted ACMS service, run by the ACMS project. Opening the ACMS page in the administration area requests public product links from api.acms.studio. Site content is read and visitor questions are sent only after an administrator connects the site. A copy installed from the ACMS ZIP, rather than from WordPress.org, also checks acms.studio and api.acms.studio for signed, compatible updates.

api.acms.studio handles account connection, authorized content synchronization and visitor questions. Once connected, it receives the site address and the content languages you select, reads the site's published content through the public WordPress REST API, and receives the questions visitors ask the assistant. While the assistant is shown, the site also asks api.acms.studio once a day, and once after this plugin is updated, for the current widget address and integrity; that request is signed with the site's installation credential and sends no content. cdn.acms.studio supplies the disclosed ACMS service widget and optional browser origin-trial activation, and is requested by the visitor's browser on pages where the assistant is shown; after each such address check, the site itself downloads the new widget file once, sending nothing, to confirm it matches its integrity before switching to it. Content and questions are sent only for these connected service features. The plugin does not rewrite personal information; ACMS protects private account data through access controls. Local management assets, fonts and browser-tool bridge are included in the plugin.

== Installation ==
1. In Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the ACMS ZIP.
2. Activate ACMS Concierge and open ACMS in the administration menu.
3. Review the service disclosure, connect your account, and follow the setup steps.

The site remains usable if ACMS is unavailable. An administrator can retry connection or a failed update without deleting existing settings.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==
= Does this plugin need another browser-bridge plugin? =
No. Supported WordPress versions expose ACMS's three consumer Abilities through the included bridge. Unsupported browsers and older WordPress versions continue with the normal interface.

= Where is the readable JavaScript source? =
The source/ directory contains the shipped management sources, pinned build inputs and dependency license notices. See SOURCE.md for the exact build command.

== Changelog ==
= 0.1.8 =
The ACMS page can show the selected site's plan and usage, and the account owner can manage that site's ACMS subscription from it once ACMS offers that for the account; the same actions work in WordPress without JavaScript.

= 0.1.7 =
The ACMS page no longer shows "This service is not available yet" beside its heading next to a site whose connection and content work. That sentence was the page's loading state, which WordPress moved into the page header, where it was never cleared. "Reconnect site" in Settings now waits for ACMS to finish replacing the site's credential, which can take about 12 seconds, instead of stopping after 10 seconds and reporting that the change could not be confirmed while it was still completing. If a reconnect still cannot be confirmed, the page says to press "Reconnect site" again to finish it, since ACMS never applies the same request twice, instead of telling you not to issue it again. When your ACMS account link is no longer active, the page says so and points to "Connect your ACMS account" on the same page, instead of asking you to sign in again. A notice the page shows while it loads stays in place when ACMS answers quickly, instead of moving into the page header.

= 0.1.6 =
Reconnecting a site that already finished setup keeps that setup, its content languages and your latest choice to show or hide ACMS on the public site, so a site that showed the assistant and its agent tools keeps showing them, and a site you turned off stays off. Turning ACMS off while a reconnect is being saved is no longer overwritten, and a save that fails can be retried. After a reconnect, the plugin's notices agree with each other instead of reporting a stale or expired session while the connection works.

= 0.1.5 =
No change to the plugin's own code. This release accompanies a new assistant widget that no longer runs past the edge of narrow phone screens; connected sites move to it automatically through the daily widget refresh.

= 0.1.4 =
A site whose owner disconnected it says so when Reconnect or "finish connection" is refused: the site cannot be reconnected from here yet and its installation credential stays revoked. The notice no longer suggests trying again. A connection request replaced by a newer approved one for the same site is dropped, so "Connect your ACMS account" starts a new request; the notice says so, and the Connect form it names stays visible.

= 0.1.3 =
A connected site keeps its assistant working across ACMS widget releases with no administrator step. Once a day, and once after this plugin is updated, the site asks ACMS for the current widget address, integrity and features (Remember among them) with its own installation credential, and the widget address is now a versioned one that keeps serving the same bytes. If the check fails, the site keeps the assistant it has and the reason code is written to the PHP error log.

= 0.1.2 =
Finishing the account connection runs once: a second click, tab or reload while it is finishing says so instead of submitting again, and its stale "unavailable" notice clears once the new connection's status is read. An action's result notice is now shown in the full management interface too.

= 0.1.1 =
Release to exercise signed updates; no functional change.

= 0.1.0 =
Initial integrated account connection, local management UI, bilingual cited assistance and optional consumer Abilities.
